The Last 18 Months of Our Travel Adventure

by May 9, 2017

How are you doing?
Hope things are going well with you!

You ever sit down for a moment and think of where your life has led you? I did that recently, unfortunately due to a mishap, so now I have some time on my hands to ponder the universe and such. And I’ve come to a certain realization about my experiences; Life is a crazy thing! You just never know where it leads.

One day you wake up working away the night in the tech industry. The next moment, you’re married, moved out of town, but still working into the night on technical related blog posts and video editing stuff.

Who Knew Where Life Would Lead Us?

If you would have told me that I was going to get married… I would have laughed at you. If you told me that I was going to leave Silicon Valley, San Jose the South Bay, much less California… I would have told you only over my dead body.

IF you told me that I would be eating super spicy food and enjoying it… well, you wouldn’t be talking to me because I’d be running for the bathroom.

Life, love, whatever you want to call it… But you know, there’s still a certain magic in the world and it can lead you to many unexpected roads, paths, diners and other hidden gems…

Only if you let it.

  • 18 months ago got down on my knee at Point Lobos
  • 6 months ago we got married on the Presidio grounds in wonderfully scenic San Francisco not that far from where I proposed
  • 5 months ago we went on a honeymoon to the Maldives and French Polynesia
  • 4 months ago we unexpectedly moved to Singapore

*there’s been a bit of traveling here, there, and everywhere before, during and after all those moments too

Which leads me back to me working on this blog post and the YouTube video that goes with it at 2 am my time… it’s always 2am somewhere… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The last 18 plus months have been hectic. It’s crazy that it all started when I got down on my knee and proposed to the Love of my life to share anything and everything together forever.

I count my blessings everyday and am thankful that she still laughs at my jokes (or at me), stomachs my cooking, and is forever patient with my shortcomings. Anywho, that is that, and at the top, if you haven’t already, click on the video and enjoy a lil 60 second show that I painstakingly found out took a lot longer than 60 seconds to make. This stuff, as with life, will get better… I’m still trying.

Eat some Food that screams out to you 8nd make every day an awesome Trip!
(did you see what I did there?)
;D
