3 Day Weekend Trip to New York City

1st Day | Flushing

10:59 am: Flight from SJC → New York (LaGuardia)
9:45 pm: At arrival, call hotel for pickup
- When arriving at LaGuardia Airport, guests can simply call our hotel to be picked up
- Our LaGuardia Airport shuttle leaves from the hotel every half hour (no reservation required)
10:30 pm: Arrival at Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel
11:30 pm: Random late night eats

9:45 am: Pick up egg tarts at New Flushing Bakery
10:08 am Subway to 212 E 42nd @ hotel
11:30 am: Get to Westin Grand Central Station Hotel and check in
12:00 pm: Picked up Starbucks at Grand Central Station
12:45 pm: Lunch at Luke’s Lobster (Todd English food hall in Plaza hotel)
1:30 pm: Walked to Central Park and checked out the Wollman Rink, figured too cold to skate so skipped
2:00 pm: Walked to Serendipity, put name on list
2:10 pm-4:45 pm: Went shopping (Bloomingdales, Dylan’s candy bar, H&M) then waited at Serendipity
5:00-6:30 pm: Ate at Serendipity (frozen hot chocolate, regular hot chocolate, challah french toast, chicken soup)
7:00 pm: Went to check out holiday windows and snack:
- Bloomingdales | Third Avenue at 59th Street
- Barneys | Madison Avenue at 61st Street
- Bergdorf Goodman | Fifth Avenue at 58th Street
- Halal Guys | 53rd and 6th
- Rockefeller Center
- Times Square
- Bryant Park
- Macys | Broadway between 34th and 35th Streets
- Saks Fifth Avenue | Fifth Avenue at 49th Street
9:00 pm: Check into the Westin Grand Central Station

United Round Trip Flight to New York from San Jose for both of us came to about $440 USD.

After points for the Westin, the entire stay in NYC came down to about $200 USD for the 2 of us minus airfare.

You and another could do our entire trip for less than $640 USD.

What do you like to do on the island?

You're going to eat, you might as well eat something tasty.
