4 Day Trip to Luang Prabang

by May 31, 2019

In North Central Laos is a small UNESCO city where the Mekong River meets the Nam Khan River that at one point used to be the Royal Capital of ancient Laos. Luang Prabang highlights both local Laotian culture everywhere you go while preserving a lot of French colonial impressions, especially in the food and architecture.

Nadia and I were celebrating but she knew that I wasn’t feeling well so she planned a short visit to Luang Prabang for some low endurance nature time and a lot of R&R. We hopped on a flight their, got stuck a little (or a lot) in customs, and then finally made it to our jungle paradise. From our new home base, we made short jaunts all over exploring what charming Luang Prabang had to offer.
