8 Shockingly GREAT Reasons for Being Late

by Nov 4, 2015

What’s taking so long?

I’ve asked that question.

I’ve been asked that question..

Everyone’s been asked or asked that very question.

In our case, I admit we’ve been late in the past, and I know we’re currently a couple months behind BUT in our experience sometimes it’s inevitable. We’ve figured that we shouldn’t beat ourselves up over it when it can’t be helped. Life happens!

Here are a couple of our GREAT reasons for being late that people were more than understanding about.

2 Irish Coffees at The Buena Vista

8 | I’ve Ordered Too Many Drinks

You’re in a place that popular with only one bartender. You have to wait for your drink(s) to be made and brought to you.

7 | I’m Cooking for a Large Group

When you have a large number of people, you can’t rush great food.

5 | I Ordered TOO Much Sushi

Grant it that sushi takes less time to prepare than other dishes, but look at that picture. You can’t rush that.

3 | I Don’t Know Where to Go?

Let’s face it, most of the time, it takes a moment to find the right table, seat, window, or in this case, a patch of grass.

2 | I Got Distracted

If you don’t slow down, life might just pass you by. Like whales at 4 o’clock.

1 | I Had a LIFE CHANGING Moment

Never mind the Dress, Will You Say ‘Yes’ to Me? My personal favorite, proposing! For most, it’s a once in a lifetime moment that takes on a life of it’s own. For me, everything seemed to rush by till the very exact moment I popped the question. Before I knew it, time had no meaning and I didn’t even know the words that were coming out of my mouth. And then just like that, the moment was gone and present caught up crashing down on me and I wondered just what exactly happened.

Flash forward several months and here we are, today, and I still don’t quite know what happened.

Life happened.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

And now we’re looking for a dress..
The right dress….

You're going to eat, you might as well eat something tasty.
