This spot is your classic mom and pop shop serving nothing but local flavors and local price where everyone that comes to eat is considered family. I know it’s not necessarily what I would consider my first bite in paradise, but after having eaten my fair share of eateries around the islands, I can honestly say that it’s a bowl of home cookin’ that hits the spot.
Looks like a real world version of what and where Naruto would eat…. If he grew up in Kauai instead of Konohagakure.

Hamura Saimin serves a hot bowl of delicious noodley, spam topped saimin!
They also serve some amazing skewered chicken!
Don’t forget the lilikoi chiffon pie!
Where is It
Hamura Saimin is just a hop, skip and jump away from the the airport on the eastside of the Kauai. It might be a tad hard to find because the exterior blends in with all the surrounding buildings but once you find the signage and some parking, you can get your first bite of Kauai hospitality.
Go and take a bite out of local flavor! I’m lookin’ forward to the next time I go back.
