There are plenty of options are available on the bustling streets of Hong Kong. On the other side of the spectrum are the ones served in the sky next to Empire City Roasted Duck. Just know ahead of time that you might be surrounded by a lot of people spending the night out either on dates or with their families.
Where Is It
In Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui, the K11 mall tower houses the Empire City Roasted Duck restaurant on the 2nd floor.
What to Eat
Get all the other dishes that you want, but at the end of the ordering there better be Peking Duck in some form or another. We opted to go all out for something we had never seen before and get the Roasted Duck with Goose Foie gras and Apple Juice Jelly.
I’m not sure if something was lost in translation or not but it was an amazing dish which stood out from the crowd of Peking duck dishes. The crisp skin topping the gelatinized foie patty on top of a bite sized bun; delicious!
Duck or Not to Duck
While very tasty, Empire’s duck is a little pricier than other restaurants. If you’re tired of eating the same thing, this might be your chance to try something new yet familiar.
