Morning are just filled with so many surprises. You may be surprised to know that I’m not much of a morning person myself. I have been known to wake up early, or rather I’ve stayed up (I’m a night owl) so late that I simply never went to sleep, giving the impression I woke up early.
If you happen to be a person of the morning and happen to be on the central east coast of Kauai then you need to go to Passion Bakery Cafe. I bet you’re wondering why I would spout off yet again about another bakery… Yes, I do love fresh baked carbs and their many sizes, shapes and forms a lot more than your average person however this particular space is more special than most.
Being a morning person will allow you the opportunity to try to get a seat before the cafe becomes too full, but more importantly the chance to eat a Macadamia Nut Sticky Bun.

I can understand if you don’t like sweet, or nuts, or sugar, or any combination thereof but if you happen to be in the area at least try it and give Passion Bakery Cafe the chance to ruin you for all sticky buns like they did to me.

Passion Bakery Cafe is a charming bakery making the most amazing baked goods specializing in using as much organic ingredients, buying as much locally, and cooking with as much passion and love as they can.
Where is It
Passion Bakery Cafe is located within a strip mall in eastern Kauai, in the area of Kapa’a just off Kuhio Highway on Papaloa Road.
We’ll have to come back to try their croisscone one day!
