Public Domain tl;dr
Every morning one of the musts of my morning routine is having a cup of black coffee. Since Public Domain was literally steps away from our hotel, The Westin Portland, we came here for a cup of breakfast coffee while waiting for the others who were in town with us to wake up and get ready.
The inside of the shop is a nice and open and very coffee shop feeling with people working on laptops while others just reading a newspaper and enjoying their morning.
Here’s Mud in Your Eye
I just had a cup of black coffee but it was great. I also enjoyed checking out local Portland downtown coffee versus going to somewhere like Starbucks.
While I’ve heard the lines can get pretty crazy, when we went it was fairly empty so getting a cup of coffee was not hard. Despite the fact that I just ordered a black coffee, service was on the slow side so I can’t even imagine what it would be like when its busy.
